The Centre for Student Engagement
The Centre for Student Engagement aims to develop the University of Winchester’s priority to be sector leading in Student Engagement through internationally recognised activities. The Centre provides services to, and research into, the field of Student Engagement exploring the ever growing discourse of students’ experiences in contemporary Higher Education. ‘Student Engagement’ is a rising academic discipline and policy area, which infers the practices where students become involved in University processes such as: student voice, co-creating curricula, improving the student experience, working in partnership, feedback and improving students’ ‘sense of belonging’ in the University setting.

The Winchester Centre for Student Engagement was established in August 2018 following the REACT project which ran development days and delivered content surrounding Student Engagement at over 20 HEIs nationally.
